WHO 3-Day Training in Rwanda

Boladale Mapayi continues to work with development partners to prevent and respond to GBV, sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment through capacity building for the African emergency workforce comprising Health Care Workers, judiciary and the law, social services, police, and policymakers. 

She joined other WHO facilitators for a 3-day training in Rwanda between the 22nd and 25th of February 2023 at the Moriah Hill resort, Kibuye, Rwanda.

Topics discussed included the concept of GBV, its causes, and related factors, issues around response and referrals, the clinical management of GBV, concepts of SEAH, prevention, and response to SEAH.
